"Sokoloff's debut novel is a furiously paced, deftly plotted joy, bursting at the seams with disquieting imagery and carrying a disturbingly dark undercurrent.

It gave me a nightmare, and that's rare."

- TIM LEBBON

author of Face and Dusk

I'm thrilled to report I've contracted with St. Martin's Press for my next two books, both supernatural thrillers, both slated for release in 2009. More news to come!

I've banded with three other terrific female dark suspense novelists: Sarah Langan, Sarah Pinborough, and Deborah LeBlanc in a new collective called MUSE. For some smart, dark thoughts by smart, dark dames, check out the MUSE website and blog here.

And for constantly updating information, my own blog is the first place to check: http://thedarksalon.blogspot.com/

The Harrowing has been nominated for an Anthony for Best First Novel.

The Harrowing has been nominated for the Horror Writers Association's Bram Stoker Award for Superior Achievement in a First Novel. Full awards list here.

I've joined the wild and wicked cast of Murderati, a group blog on marketing, mystery, and murder. I blog on Saturdays, but we have a no-holds barred discussion pretty much every day, open to all. Come join the fun!
